Delicious cookie recipe! Double oat cookies.
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg white
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup quick-cooking or old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup oat bran
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat butter, brown sugar, vanilla and egg white in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed, or mix with spoon. Stir in remaining ingredients.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 to 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
