Mmmm almond cupcakes!

Almond Lime Cupcakes



  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • ½ tsp. vanilla
  • ½ tsp. almond extract
  • ½ cup almonds, finely chopped



Stir flour, baking powder and salt together in a bowl. Add milk, eggs and butter in another bowl and beat together. Add to dry ingredients and beat together for 1 minute at medium speed of electric mixer. Add in vanilla, almond extract and chopped almonds. Beat 1 more minute. Scoop batter into prepared cupcake cups and bake at 350degrees F for 20-25 minutes. Frost with vanilla frosting and top with a sprinkling of cinnamon and some coarsely chopped almonds.
